USF BSN & ABSN Hopefuls Summer 2015

Published

I know I am jumping on this topic early but is anyone else excited about the upcoming ability to apply to USF? Lets get to know each other! Share a little about yourself. We can also talk about the application process, writing sample, gpa, facts/things you have heard, concerns/thoughts, other schools your applying, ect.

Lets get a conversation going! Go bulls!!

Unfortunately, I was not accepted. I remain optimistic and know everything happens for a reason. I am happy for all those who were accepted and to those who are in the same predicament as me- do NOT give up! Keep following your aspirations and goals, you will reach them!

I'm sorry to hear that! Everything does happen for a reason. You will get into a program and be a successful nurse. Best of luck!

I was offered a seat for the second degree sequence but will be attending another program for those of you on the waitlist. Congrats to everyone who was accepted and good luck to you all!!

I'm declining my alternate position so maybe that will move someone up! Good luck everyone ☺

Does anyone know the amount that USF requires for the deposit?

They require a deposit?!

Not sure..but most schools want a deposit when you declare your intent to enroll.

I don't think they do. You could always ask on Soar discussion board or call. I know UNF doesn't have that requirement.

I finally decided to decline my spot in USF's ABSN program in favor of VCU. I hope that this helps someone who is currently on the wait-list. Best of Luck! :)

Hey when applying to the University. Did you select transfer student or second degree candidate?

What category do you fall in? If you already have a bachelors degree then you are a second degree, otherwise you are a transfer student.

Oh I thought for the ABSN everyone has to have a previous Bachelor's? I have a preexisting bachelor's and was going to click that option but I thought I saw somewhere where it said go under transfer.

I think I was getting Upper division and post secondary mixed up. Thanks for the help.
