USF 2014 applicants?

I just caught my error! An ADN goes to get their BSN (RN to BSN)
I thought an AA is the same thing as an ASN? No? I think you just need to apply to to the upper division BSN program. You need to look at the requirements: Admission Requirements - Upper Division - USF Health - Tampa, Florida

I looked into this and I believe I would have to do RN to BSN I have to complete enc1 and enc2 first before applying. It says its 5 semesters long tho. At USF is the summer time considered an entire semester? So I would be finished in one and half years?

Hey guys. I too applied to USF - both 2nd degree and Upper level. Does anyone have any idea when we may hear from them? I know they say up to 6 weeks... but any "educated guesses" out there?

Hey Guys! I am new to this thread. I actually just graduated from UCF! Wooo! Go Knights! Anyway, I just applied for the Summer Program, too. I am anxious but nervous at the same time. Does anyone have any info on how heavy they weigh the essay compared to your Overall GPA & Pre-req? Let me know. Good luck to everyone!!!

@AgaSJ I have a feeling we will hear decisions by the end of March because I don't believe they review applications over spring break!

@nhamlin From previous threads I have read it's 40% essay, and then 30% pre req & overall GPA.

Yes, end of March is a safe guess. If i'm not mistaken the emails are sent out on Fridays so I'm hoping it will be either the 21st or 28th. My status has changed to "committee" on SOAR for accelerated but not upper division. Anybody has the same status?

I believe USF Spring break runs a week later than most of FL Universities. As far as I am aware of. USF's SB ran a week late last year from when I had SB at UCF.

USF's Spring Break starts March 10-15. So, they should be reviewing our applications this week, (hoping).

Hey guys! I also applied for the summer accelerated program! Here's to hoping we all get in! I was an alternate in 2012 but didn't get in. I took a break from applying since I got pregnant with our third and final child:) Praying this time I will get a spot. My Essay is what I truly believe got me an alternate. I have a 3.7 in pre reqs but micro and a and p do not count. I attempted twice not because I had trobule with it but I had family issues. so my GPA is 3.3 pre req and 3.6 overall.

Whoa sorry guys! I was thinking about HCC taking off points for attempting classes. I know USF only looks at first attempt courses for pre req and then factors in the other for overall gpa. I am not quite sure how to figure out my pre req GPA.
