USF 2014 applicants?

Just wondering if there are any USF applicants out there? I had a couple questions :)

I had trouble with my application too and I was not able to open up a nursing application and apply until I was accepted to the school for summer 2014. Hope that helps.

Yeah that's the process I'm stuck in now. Like I've already been admitted for fall and I sent in the change of term form over a month ago. It shouldn't take this long, all it should be is the click of a button I feel like. Anyways though I had to get on the phone with the recruiter for my county and he said it will be done within the next 4 business days. So hopefully I don't have to go down there haha! And kmcnally when you went to go fill out the nursing application and clicked on the soar link, were you able to fill it out right then and there? Because I know that with ucf you have to submit the request for the application and then it takes a couple days to actually be able to apply

Yes with UCF there was a wait. With USF there was not. You could fill it out immediately. There is the easy portion though do not forget but if you have an essay finished you should be good! It's a very short application. Good luck!

Also, for the summer and fall terms: does anyone know if you don't get accepted to the summer if there is a chance you can for the fall? Thanks!

Your question about changing the term situation, I had to do the exact same thing, however, they were taking to long to update my term entrance so I decided to fill out a separate application which I then got accepted. I check my other application pretty much once a day to see if they made changes but they still have not. So if I were you I would either go in and make sure they figure it out or do what I did and pay ANOTHER 30 dollars and fill out the application again.

Yeah I have a killer essay ready! I just have to get this thing fixed before the deadline. It's making me so nervous . But BOWESA how long did it take them to accept you with your new application? I'm afraid to do that because the deadline is so close

Honestly I would keep calling them. I applied in 2008 when I was going to be a freshman in college therefore I had two applications: my 2008 and my 2014 one. When I wasn't accepted and January 1st came along I called and apparently they attached all my transcripts, etc. To my 2008 application. strange right? They told me it would take a couple weeks to be accepted and I was accepted after about and week and half.

With the new application it took about 2 weeks :/ but I also called them pretty much everyday after the first week just so I wouldn't have to go through the same process again.

And yes I'm so excited for the essay portion ! I started working on my essay around November so I'm ready to turn it in ! (:

I've been doing a little research on here from previous application deadlines trying to determine what is usually the average GPA they accept. Does anyone know what is the lowest GPA they accept?

Just came across this site.... Accelerated applicant here as well. Any ideas about when we should hear decisions? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I guess it's just a matter of waiting.

Oh and one other question, does anyone know the exact start date for the summer class? I can't seem to find that info either. THANKS!

I am freaking out! I applied to ABSN program at USF and I want to get in sooooo badly! My undergraduate GPA was a 3.4 and I have A's and B's in pre-reqs. Do you think I have a chance?

Who knows... I have a 3.9 GPA in my pre-req's. And 3.6 in undergrad but didn't get into one of the schools I applied to, so I think it largely depends on the pool of applicants. Time will tell.
