Hi all! My name is Kate, I was accepted to the program and plan to attend. I am so excited to start and can't wait to meet everyone! I am writing to see if anyone is planning on moving to Tampa for the program. I would love to have nursing students for roomates. If you're interested please let me know.

Hi, everyone so I got wait listed for the accelerated summer 14 program so I am reapplying to the accelerated program for fall 14 as a back up in case I don't get off the wait list. Does anyone have an advice as to what I can add to my essay when I resubmit it? Any thoughts and opinions at welcomed and I would appreciate it! My essay was good but I have an extra paragraph of so room for the 2 page double spaced length requirement!

Well, good luck with your application for fall, but i wouldn't quite yet give up hope for summer - spaces may open after 28th. As for the essay, I'm pretty sure it should be single-spaced... at least mine was.

In fact I squeezed as much as i could on it and converted it to PDF before submitting to make sure that formatting is retained.

I meant to say single spaced, that was a typo on my part...oops! My essay was single spaced, which was probably a benefit as it allows you to say a lot more. I haven't give up on getting off the waitlist yet but I want to keep my options open because USF was my top choice. And that's what im

hoping but I have no idea where I am on that waitlist, fingers crossed I get In!! Thanks for the encouragement :)

Has anyone heard anything.. whats happening. Its been 8 days since activity. We are to quiet ahaha.

Im following ur thread because ill be apply for summer and fall term next year depending if I get in the first try. Ill be finished with prerequisites end of fall then ill apply... and while im waiting to hear back in the spring, ill be finishing my AA degree from HCC. Im also going to apply to HCC nursing program for fall next year just as a plan C if USF doesnt accept me in the 2nd time around. I wish everyone the very best.. and please update on your experience ... I cant wait untill the day im back in scrubs!

Hi Kate, congrats on your acceptance! I'll be starting this summer too. :) I am moving to Tampa (from Clearwater), but have already lined up a 1 bedroom, so no roommates for me...I have a rottie and two cats which makes the roommate thing a little difficult. I'm sure you'll find someone who is looking, if you haven't already. See you in a couple weeks at Nursing Orientation!

Applications for the fall 2014 nursing program open tomorrow. May be they are talking about getting accepted to the university, I'm not sure. I am reapplying for fall 2014, as a I was wait listed for the summer accelerated program. Still hoping to get off the wait list!

Was anyone at general orientation this past Friday the 28th? It was pretty cool seeing the nursing building before nursing orientation and touring other parts of the campus!

So I got call about 2 hours ago and I am off the wait list. I was accepted into the accelerated program!!!
