Hello!
I am applying for the Fall 2015 smester in the Second Degree sequence and I wanted to see who is out there that can give me some advice or commiserate!
I am so nervous about my essay... Their instructions are slightly vague and I am unsure of how to capture their attention and convey my passion for nursing.
Do you think I will get in with 2 years CNA experience as a school "nurse" and a 3.6 pre-req GPA?
Thanks in advance for your responses!
I think you should use APA format. Not question and answer format. Since they didn't specify...I chose to write it in an essay format and incorporated the questions into my responses. They already know what the questions are so I don't think it's necessary to write it out as long as your paper is organized and since they did say to use 1 inch margins and specified the font I felt that these were along the lines of APA format so I went with that, I even used a header.
@medic6758 see that Is how I have mines right now. I have the scenario questions typed up, then my responses on under it all on the second page.I would not incorporate it the questions. Also, they like if you go close to the bottom of the second page, it gives the impression you have a lot to say and not enough space to express it.
I am so nervous. I am also from Tampa and I did not apply anywhere else because I cannot relocate. Fingers crossed!
I did not specify that I wanted to get my MPH and ARNP, but I did focus on the 2nd degree being beneficial to my future and how I plan on being a nurse vs. a doctor. I just hope my essay is good enough for them. Also, I would not leave the typed-out, numbered questions in the paper. Use your topic sentences to state the question and answer in a creative way so that it is more professional.

Hi everyone!
I was just wondering for those of you who submitted your essay or currently working on it, did you write the question out then the response or did you just write the responses without writing the questions?
