USF ABSN 2017

Published

Hi! Anyone applying for USF (University of South Florida) ABSN for 2017? I can't seem to find anyone!

Congratulations to everyone!! Unfortunately I was denied. I wish you all the best :)

Got accepted too! Congratulations to everyone! :)

For those who got accepted, would anybody be willing to share their GPAs?

B.S. Biomedical Sciences

Cumulative GPA - 3.38

Prerequisite GPA - 3.91

Cumulative GPA: 3.03

Prerequisite GPA: 3.625

I am so excited, I got in too! My degree is in Exercise Science. My cumulative GPA is a 3.36 and my prerequisite GPA is a 3.80. For those that didn't get in or got waitlisted, don't be discouraged. I've been there, and I know how it feels. Just never give up on your dreams because you'll get there soon :)

I was also accepted! Is anyone from outside of Tampa that is looking for places to live?

My cumulative GPA was ~3.48 and prerequisite 4.0

I'm pretty devastated about not getting accepted. Biomedical Sciences, Honors College, 3.85 GPA cumulative, 3.67 Pre-req (3.88 if all the pre-reqs are included). I don't feel I could have had better grades. I guess they didn't like something I said during my interview. I must have said something. I really don't know. I'm personable, friendly, chose nursing for the right reasons, and have 2 years of experience as a PCT at St. Joes. But I guess I have to find the strength to not get discouraged and try again.

I'm in the exact same boat, seb183. Everything that you said is me too. It's so hard not to be discouraged. :(

I was accepted too! So excited!

@g8trgrad why did you choose USF over UF?? I am very curious since so many have debated over which school is better.

Hey! Did you graduate from FSU? I am a FSU grad :) I live in Jax so I will be looking for places to live in Tampa. I don't know the area well, but I am already doing some research on some apartments close to campus.
