  1. I only ordered one, at least for now. I heard some people ordering two, so I asked the woman and she said that for the first semester, we really only needed one, because we were only going once a week.
  2. Thanks for the info! I was thinking about going tomorrow, glad I asked.
  3. Hello all! Hope everybody was happy with their clinical placement :) I was wondering if anybody has picked up their scrubs/uniform from the USF Health Bookstore yet or if anybody had any news about them. Thanks!
  4. The last email they sent us said: "Professional attire is required, but please wear comfortable shoes. NO Jeans and/or t-Shirts, please!" I'll be wearing dress pants, nice blouse, and flats. Probably take a little sweater thing in case it's freezing cold inside like other USF buildings I've had class in lol I am soooo excited to meet everyone as well as finding out where we will have our clinicals! :)
  5. I called yesterday to make an appointment. Next available was April 24th. I wonder if they are only appointment based or do they do walk-ins as well? Hope you can get them done soon!
  6. Hello all! I feel like there should have been one distinct outline with all the due dates or maybe I missed it. Obviously we shouldn't leave anything to the last minute, but I would appreciate it if anyone could either agree/disagree with the info below I have been going by: April 21st - USF Card, USF Health email, HIPAA Certification, USF Immunization, USF/Transfer Orientation if applicable (Unable to register at Orientation if not completed) April 28th - Background Check and Drug Screening (Seat will be forfeited if not completed) May 15th - CPR Certification, Castle Branch Immunization May 19th - Pre-Immersion Program Let me know what you think. Thanks! Have a great weekend! See you all next Friday! :)
  7. Thanks! I just checked their fee for the Tdap, it's $42, cheaper than Health Department :). I have an appointment with my PCP on Wednesday, but they have already told me that the insurance only covers certain things supposedly, like the TB Test, Hep B titer, and varicella titer, but not the Tdap. I guess I'll find out on Wednesday for sure what I'll still be needing to do. At least now I have a back-up with USF's Student Health Services, so thank you!
  8. Anybody else needing the Tdap (Tetorifice, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccine? My doctor's office only provides the vaccine to children, not adults. They said to try the Health Department, which I called, $57 for one shot. Cheaper alternatives are welcome if anybody has one :)
  9. So I just called USF Health Tech support. He said the best way to login was to go through cloudmail.health.usf.edu . After resetting my password, I was able to finally access the usf health email. He also said it could take about a week before the usf health email shows up as a default option.
  10. I can't even access it yet. I type in the email to login and it says "Google doesn't recognize the email." How long did it take for you to be able to access it?
  11. Hey guys! Anybody been able to access their usf health email yet?
  12. Hello all! Anybody still have to take CPR Course? I've looked through the courses offered by the American Heart Association. From what I can find, HCC Ybor offers it for $49, $35 if you are an HCC Student (you need to email them for the promo code before you pay). Hope it helps!
  13. The excitement is killing me, so I've worked on a schedule with what it says on OASIS: 1. NUR 3125-53522 Pathophysiology for Nursing Practice (4) MW 8:30AM - 10:30AM MDN 2007 S. McGhee 2. NUR 3145-53526 Pharmacology in Nurse Practice (3) MW 10:45AM - 12:45PM MDN 2007 C. Zambroski 3. NUR 3026-53470 Fundamentals of Nursing Practice (4) MW 2:00PM - 4:30PM MDN 2007 M. Culp 4. NUR 3026L-TBA Fundamentals Clinical (4) - 5 different locations from what I understand, so it depends on where they send us. Doesn't say days or times. - STJ (St. Joseph's Hopital): Tampa (on W. Dr. M.L.K King Blvd.) - TGH (Tampa General Hospital): Tampa (Davis Islands) - VA (Veteran's Hospital): Tampa (on Bruce B. Downs near USF) - MPM (Morton Plant Mease Hospital): Clearwater - Manatee (Manatee Memorial Hospital): Bradenton 5. NUR 3066-54237 Physical Exam & Assesment (2) TR 8:00AM - 12:00PM MDN 2002 J. Thayer I got this info between OASIS and the email Ms. Lopez just sent us, but don't live by this. We won't see our actual schedules until Orientation I believe. I kind of also wanted an idea of where people would have preferred to go or where they are likely to be sent based on their zip codes.
  14. Hello all! I just got the email from Maikelyn Lopez about how to create the USF Health email!
  15. No, I don't believe its double, just an extra fee per credit along with the regular price. I spoke to an adviser about two weeks, she said I couldn't do anything about the excess hours until after we were accepted. I sent her an email, letting her know that I was, she said to contact our new academic adviser, Maikelyn Lopez.
