USC university hospital NEW grad residency

Hey!!! i am going to LA in a week to interview for the new grad residency program. Has anyone already interviewed, or know anything about their residency program, esp for the cardiac telemetry position? Do you know what it's like for new nurses to work there and any advice would be helpful.

Yes, the interview was more like good conversation, very little stress and they were so friendly. Just wonder what would be the criteria to select people 40 people out of 110...The questions were very standard and I'm sure each applicant is well prepared.

Hi guys! is USC open for applications right now? Wish you could help. I've been searching for New Grad RN programs for weeks now. Still no luck. :crying2:

Below is the timeline I got when the RN program was posted on the USC website.

October 2, 2009:

New Graduates are invited to complete the online application as well as submit all required documents to HR for consideration.

October 23, 2009:

Last day to apply online and submit all required documents listed above.

November 23 - December 15, 2009:

Selected candidates contacted for in-person interviews.

December 23, 2009:

Offer letters sent to selected candidates.

January 8, 2010:

Last day to sign and return acceptance letters to HR.

February 19, 2010:

Verification of RN licensure must be available on Board of Nursing website.

March 1, 2010:

RN Versant Program begins.

Ohhh, the wait is getting harder as we get closer...hope we find out before 24th but if not that's coming up soon. All I want for Christmas...pleeze Santa. :)

guys, do you remember if usc requires 2 years commitment after the Versant program ends?

When I interviewed the panel said that they hoped to have emails sent out by the 18th or 21st. keeping my fingers crossed for all !

I just got a call from USC, I was offered a position.

So I guess be expecting a phone call.
