Hello everyone! SOoooo good to see all the posts regarding the email sent. I called HR yesterday and Anthony said it was a glitch and confirmed my upcoming appt this Friday. Feel relieved that soo many people got it and it doesn't mean that we are with out this job! Any Feb 28th starters out there?? Can't wait to meet everyone :)

I had a call from Rita and she told me that Liza would be the one contacting me later next week.

Hello everyone, I got the call too today and start Feb 28!!!!! I am soooo relieved and I too was pretty much crying to my mom everyday. From what I hear, they are still calling so hang in there and don't give up. Congrats to everyone who has gotten the call and prayers that everyone else gets the call soon!:redpinkhe

Hello, So has anyone had any job offers from Cedars yet????

Just opened up my email and got the invite to the second phase. I hope everyone in search of a job at this time and on this thread get the good news as well. It's tough !

I received a call yesterday as well. She said they are going to invite 200 people to an open house and choose 50 people from there. Half start Feb and the other half start in March.

I too have been a crazy girl as of Friday! Today I ate a whole bag of Funnions (which I have not had since high school)!!

Totally understand that you were venting! Thank you for opening up about the details and I'm sorry if I sounded defensive towards your issue. I was just trying to open a more general perspective in hopes that it could help you. It sounds to me like you are on the right path and you probably set the standard in your class (which comes with a lot of responsibility!) Don't let other people's issues affect you because you are in nursing school and you have alot on your plate!

HeartJulz, I understand your drive and dedication in learning and succeeding in nursing. It also seems that other people's reactions and perceptions of you are bothersome to you. Not all people will always like you and to respect you, that is always earned amongst your peers. Perhaps being more helpful to them will allow them to be more positive and less bitchy! Decide what is important to you and trust in your decision. Good luck;)
