USC Keck RN Residency Summer 2018

Published

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd start a thread for those who are applying to the USC Versant New Graduate RN Residency Program for the summer of 2018. This is a way to stay updated throughout the process and ask each other questions. Thanks and good luck to us all!

Also a question to those who have already finished applying, do you know where we submit the cover letter, personal statement, etc.? They said we only have one opportunity to do it, but I haven't seen it in the application. I called HR and no one got back to me. Is there an opportunity to add it after you hit submit or do you add it with the resume?

Hi. Thanks for the page! I haven't applied yer. I think you should bundle everything to 1 file and attach it under resume. Hope that helps.

Hi, its actually in the page that says "experience" at the top. scroll down and you should see a box where you can upload your docs

Hi everyone, I also applied for USC's residency program. Unfortunately, I forgot to upload my unofficial transcripts and I am unable to go back and edit my application. I emailed HR and also just attached a pdf of my transcripts, I also called but got not response so far. Any luck with USC HR getting back to you?

@TheNewGrad, sorry I'm replying so late! I haven't been checking up on this forum very much. HR never got back to me, but I got it figured out, thankfully. I hope they ended up getting back to you! Also, no updates on my app. It just says "under review".

Has anyone heard back yet?

Just got called today to interview next week for the CTICU.

It says my application is still under review. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Mine still says under review and I applied to the neuro icu. Hoping for the best!

I haven't been contacted via phone or email, but my application is also still listed as under review. Hopefully this means I'm still a viable candidate. Best of luck to everyone--may the odds be ever in your favor!

hey all! i just interviewed for one of the ICUs last week. manager says that the cohort will be finalized by the end of the month. the total cohort number will be about 15.. so i'm not sure how many positions are actually open per unit. hope that helps!

also.. did anyone get the online assessment questionnaire? did you get it before or after the interview? i got mine after the interview and was wondering if it meant anything at all.. probably overthinking..
