They sent an email last night and they are being held next week. People could still turn down the interview, so don't lose hope!

I got invited to interview!

I haven't had heard anything either.

I submitted the initial app the day before it was due and then got the rest of it to complete on Tuesday. They'll probably finish going through those this week and then maybe send out all interview requests next week or the week after.

I randomly came across it as I was searching for new grad positions. It was about 2.5 weeks before it was going to happen and they didn't have any more spots for people to go, but I got on the waitlist. I emailed them expressing my interest in going too and then got off the waitlist. They said on the site that they could put you on the priority for the list for the next cohort if you wouldn't have your license by September 1st, so I would definitely ask about it!

I got the video interview invite today.

Congrats! I haven't heard anything back yet. I wonder if they sent out interviews for other units already too.

I direct messaged you. I'm in a similar boat as you, but one year later. I would love to know what you ended up doing? I'm starting to weigh other options.

Any status updates yet from the Med/Surg/PCU?

Did people get a receipt email to confirm the initial application? Not the one where they ask you to finish, but the one where they review it first. I always get stressed when I hit submit on applications because I'm worried I might have made a typo somewhere. So now I'm worried because I didn't get that receipt email

Creating a thread for those who applied to the October 2018 Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai. Wishing us all luck!

I'm in the exact same boat... I went out of state for school, which has made it worse for me too since they're looking for people who did preceptorships or clinicals at their hospital. I have started to look into other opportunities like a SNF in my area, but there's still nothing that will take less than 1 year experience. I'm considering moving back to the state where I went to school because everyone in my class who applied to those hospitals have gotten jobs right away. I'm honestly only going to give it until these next Residency programs that start in October get back to me.
