USAGPAN Army CRNA FY24

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hey there..I'm posting this thread seeing who else is applying for the FY24' June start with the Army USAGPAN. I've applied before and know the rigors of the application, the back and fourth paperwork between the recruiter, endless forms, and signatures. I'm retaking an undergraduate class and a graduate science course per the boards recommendation.

Best of luck to everyone.

Not yet, LTC Yost wanted my current proof of enrollment and grade in biochemistry before scheduling since I'm still finishing up the class. I sent that yesterday so hopefully I'll hear back pretty soon. They said it would probably be the end of April or early May though.

Nice, are you taking through Iowa central?....I took intro to biochem in 2018, scored nicely, and  have to retake (too old) ?....starts July

I'm taking it through Geneva college portage learning online. The lady at Baylor said it's one they recommend. It's not too bad and it's self-paced so that's nice. I should be done with the class sometime next week.

I can confirm they will take it, that's the class I took and I was eligible for interview with that class.

Still waiting for my recruiter to give me an exact interview timeframe, I requested either the first two weeks in April or the first two weeks in May

trying to prepare in the meantime. I've heard from past students that it varies from facility to facility the type of interview styles people get

How long did it take you to finish the course? I am planning to start the class next week with portage learning. Hoping to finish it out quickly. Are exams proctored?

Wow, that's amazing! That's a lot shorter than I anticipated! I'm taking the GRE's Monday and then going to crank out biochem. Did you need to purchase a book?

No book needed, tests were pretty good, everything is in the lecture modules, no surprises, just a lot of memorization

I took bicoxhem before but it was too old so it was kind of a refresher

Hello Everyone! Any tips on taking Biochem and how to finish quickly? I'm taking it through Protage. Also, the time commitment after the program is 3 or 5 years?
