URGENT HELP IN NCLEX-RN :'c

Hello everyone!

I am new here and i need every single help as possible. :(

I graduated in the Philippines last April 2010. I came here in california last September 2011 and my first attempt of NCLEX was last May 2011. (It took me that long due to financial reasons and the application process) As you all see, i have been out of school for 2 years already and i am having a hard time reviewing. I easily get overwhelmed by how much stuff i need to fit into my head and i feel like i cant even absorb them all. I can review few items and then i forget them easily. Heck i can't even focus on reading the book. :( I need advice/tips on how to prepare/study for nclex-rn. How to memorize things easily etc. I also need someone to motivate me and willing to study with me back from scratch. I know this is too much to ask but if anyone is willing to help, i will be forever grateful for all of you. Also, is kaplan course book enough as a study material?(borrowed from a friend) We have financial problems so i really cant afford to buy books nor enroll for a review course. :sniff: This will be my 2nd attempt and i want this to be my last. But right now, i lack motivation and i don't know what to do anymore. It's really frustrating and i just want this to end.

I understand. You are in a frustrating spot. I think that we all hear the desperation coming through. But, we can help. I've been out of school a few too many years for my study material to be pertinent, but I am a great teacher. I'd be willing to do some things via e-mail if your interested. i feel for you toGodbetheglory.... i just want to uplift your spirit... don't give up! no matter what people say, it doesn't matter. forget the frustration and humiliation if you fail after the exam. and don't bother thinking what are you going to do if you fail, instead, focus and pray that God give you guidance during the exam and give your all while you are studying. i started reviewing feb 11(yes i remember the date) then took the exam on april 12 2012. i felt so alone while reviewing. to tell you what it's kind of boring. i can't do anything. for 2 months my life stopped. library, home, starbucks. then before the exam, i prayed hard. "Lord you were with me all this time. You have witnessed how I studied. Please be with me during the exam. Help me to never doubt on my self" then at 8 am i started the exam. it stopped at 75.. then i was like... confused.. i know i got a chance to pass but damn, you'll never know. after 3 hours i tried the pearsonvue trick.. i got 'good pop up". after 2 days i paid to make sure i passed.. and yes i passed! don't doubt yourself.. don't ask "what if i fail" instead tell yourself, i did my best.. i know i can make it..
