UPenn Direct Entry BSN/MSN 2015

Hi everybody,

I couldn't find a thread for UPenn but is anybody else applying?

I know that penn has the program, but i'm not too sure if you can apply for the direct entry. The good thing is you can switch your master's program once you're in penn, and the process is really simple and I heard about 95% of people get what they want. So if that is what is keeping your friend from applying, let her know she can always switch into it later!

My phone interview is scheduled for friday, but I can't make the scheduled time! I tried emailing and calling on monday, no replies from either yet. I left another message today, but I'm really afraid that they aren't going to reply back in time...

Anything in particular to watch out for in the interview?

she will refer to things in your essay so look over what you wrote and she just asked simple questions about why you want to be a nurse and what you are looking to get out of the program. Each interview is tailored to each applicant i think

For those attending the in person interview tomorrow... there are two time slots for a campus tour. I'm assuming we don't go to both?

I assume so... I just wonder what we will do in between the tour and lunch if we go to the earlier tour. Although I probably won't because my interview is at 10 AM and will last for 30 minutes

Hi there! Are any Accelerated BSN candidates still waiting on an exact date and time for your phone interviews? The last correspondence I received was on November 12th asking to register for a specific weekday and time window.

Just had my phone interview. It went well, though was surprisingly short - she only asked me four questions! It lasted all of 15-20 minutes. Now the waiting continues!

Good to know that it went well! I had a phone interview with Regis College earlier and it was also about 20 minutes.

Three more days until Penn interview... I'm eager to explore the city after :D

They asked me 1) Why acute care? 2) How do you manage stress? 3) Talk about your leadership roles and 4) how would your best friends describe you?
