I was surprised there wasn't already a thread for those applying to UPenn's direct entry program since the threads from previous years were so active, so I thought I would start one where this year's applicants could gather. :)
I'm just hoping to get to know some other applicants so we can support each other through this nerve wracking process! My name is Michelle and I am applying for the Nurse Anesthesia specialty, I'm in the process of working on my personal statement. Any others out there?

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, I've had major email issues this week (long sob story, but let's just say that my Yahoo account has deleted all emails sent to me between Nov 29th and December 9th, and I wasn't getting new messages for two days). This means I no longer have the email sent to phone interviewees on Monday. Was there anything else we needed to do besides respond to the sender (sorry, can't name her by name here!) regarding our availability? I did that from a different email account and let her know that I've updated my contact information, but I haven't heard back at either account.
Sorry for the convoluted story - I normally am not so tech-dramatic! But if someone can reassure me that I am not missing a major step in this process, I would appreciate it!
Hey Ames, you're right about that being the only step: responding to the email with your time availability. I'd go ahead and call F this afternoon if you still haven't heard anything.
Whew! Thank you, norcal! I was actually going to call this morning, but then I received a note from F that the faculty is no longer able to conduct all interviews on the 16th and that I will be scheduled for another day (possibly in January). So, it looks like I can stop worrying a bit.
I just wanted to check in and say that is was really great to meet everyone on the WHNP/CNM interview day on Monday! I was really very impressed with the faculty, the campus, the current students, Philly and all of the other interviewees. I can't believe we just have to sit back and wait now. Stay positive! I'll be sending everyone optimistic vibes!
Anyone out there a traditional MSN applicant? I was just accepted into Peds Primary Care for Fall 2014. They didn't even interview me, which I found bizarre, and they are only giving me 10 days for a response. Full-time applications are clearly rolling admissions, despite what their website states...hmm...just looking to connect with anyone in a similar situation!
