Wow, congrats all!!!!! Emails have already started? Any idea how they are being rolled out? I was expecting them all to go out tomorrow.

Hi @psychnp_2b7, I thought it would be tomorrow as well but it looks like the invites started to come out this morning. I'm guessing from your screen name you are going for the Psych NP specialty. I don't know how they are rolling out the invites but from the e-mail that was sent about notifications and deadlines, they said Psych NP interviews were tentatively set for Dec 11th. I didn't receive a follow up e-mail saying that they have confirmed the dates so Psych NP interviews might be sent later as they firm up the dates but this is just a guess on my part.

So far it looks like AG and CNM have received invites for interview. Any other applicant for the Psych NP specialty that has received an invite and can let us know?

You are absolutley right! That sucks Any insight from other psych propectives would be helpful!

Yes, totally agree with you about being more comfortable talking in person rather then on the phone. I also think I convey my thoughts better when I am actually in front of an interviewer as well.
I was no where near as confident about my chances of getting an interview so I didn't want to jinx it by buying a ticket before I was offered an interview slot. I did think about it when the notification about dates and deadlines came through from FC but ultimately decided to hold off until I was offered an interview which I now have! I'm excited (if you can't tell lol!)
I will start checking on flights and places to stay and see if it makes sense for me to go in person.

I was trying to be optimistic in my decision to just book a flight hahaha but my SO lives in Philly so I was planning on making a trip out anyway :) I'm also super excited!! I'm sure you'll be great whether you go in-person or opt for the phone interview!

For anyone looking for flights I recommend using skyscanner.com or Google Matrix!

Hi @cp19, the expected interview notification date was suppose to be tomorrow so if you don't hear back today, they are probably just sending them out in batches by specialty. There will probably be more over the next few days. It looks like Psych hasn't been sent yet and I think you applied for PNP so there are a few specialties that haven't received notifications yet. Hang in there! Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Good luck!! Don't stress yourself out too much. My friend got her invitation to interview 2 days after almost everyone else did last year. Fingers crossed for all!

Hello All! New to this site...

I received my invite for an interview today, and I am so excited! Especially as I was concerned as I am super non-traditional, BFA Dance performance and my math scores for the GRE were terrible. But I have a great prereq GPA of 3.93....

so I am assuming this is the first part of the admissions process, they have seen my scores, etc and pushed me to the next step? Am I also to assume that if one does not receive an invite, they are to assume that they were not accepted? The email was slightly vague!

Anyway I'll be in Philly on the 11th!!!!

From the explanation from admissions on the email they sent. If applicants are not invited to interview for the BSN/MSN program, they will be considered for the BSN 2nd Degree program instead. I posted the full mail on the previous page. The process is explained there.

But since it is still early, I would wait a few more days before thinking you aren't invited to interview. The invites should still be going out over the next few days. They should go out by speciality in batches.
