Greetings fellow 2018 UPenn BSN/MSN applicants! Just thought I could start a thread for the incoming applicants so we can help each other out through the application process.

Does anyone know if we need to submit separate transcripts for study abroad programs if it's already clearly stated on our official undergraduate transcript? Thanks! : )

Why is Penn requesting parent income and tax returns? I have been independent for the last 3 years. Do they use parent income information to determine aid? If so, that sounds quite stingy to me...

Yes, most everyone interviewing has been independent for some time and YES it does sound stingy. There were a lot of people at the meeting clarifying "But, I'm 27 years old..." or "But, I haven't lived or shared finances with my parents in years..." Myself included.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter. If you want to be even CONSIDERED for a need based loan, you must submit your parental information if you are under 30 years old.

Has anyone interviewing for the PMHNP track gotten their interview date yet (for the phone interview)? I know there was an email sent out a couple weeks ago saying that the date/times haven't been finalized, but I'm wondering if this is still the case!

Hey! I signed up for a phone interview and I haven't heard anything. I followed up again recently about it and haven't heard back... It's really been bothering me! So it's comforting to know it's not just me :) we're in this together! Haha

Ugh I'm so surprised I still haven't heard anything about a phone interview scheduling... Are we the only two people or are there others out there?

I just got the thumbs down from Yale, so now I'm like, extra paranoid about this interview and getting my ducks in a row! :o

I am sorry to hear that lapinjapan. Have you tried calling the admission office, maybe they can give you some insight? When I got my interview time, I emailed FC explaining that there are some days I can't have a phone interview. She graciously replied in two business day with an assigned time. Hope you get something soon. I know the feeling.

FNP applicants: I heard that Penn's cohort for FNP (BSN+MSN) entry in 2018 is filled already. Does anyone know if that is true?

Where did you hear that?...I've received nothing from FV or Penn since I submitted my application. LOL

I have not heard anything like that. From my understanding, FNP applicants will hear back when final decisions are released in February.

Emails have said early February 2018. So I assume first or second week.
