UPenn BSN/MSN 2012

Hi everyone,

Anyone applying for just the BSN? I see they're starting to do interviews for the BSN program again as well.

I emailed Filomena and she said that you have to be invited for an interview but that they'll probably interview close to 90% of the applicants.

There's a pretty big window during which we can hear about if we got an interview...11/7-1/23! Anyone get one yet?

@tinatac - I applied to the BSN (non-MSN) program as well. I'm surprised they are going to be interviewing BSN applicants, as it didn't say anything about it for us, just the BSN/MSN folks. Sounds like a great opportunity, I just hope they don't expect out of towners to interview in person.

It does sound like a great opportunity. I think they prefer phone interviews actually. In the email, it said that they won't be able to offer in-person interviews for everyone.

I have an interview at DeSales next week and unfortunately they don't allow phone interviews so I had to be rude and ask for time off from work last minute...oh, well!

i also read in her email that those who don't get into bsn/msn will automatically be put into the bsn applicant pool.

I'm applying for the BSN/MSN acute/chronic care pediatric nurse practitioner. I just got the email today about being invited for the interviewing process on Dec 9th. I'm not sure though if I'm going to do it over the phone or fly out there. I live in Champaign, IL. So it's kinda far and expensive. Not to mention it's in the middle of my finals, (I'm still in undergrad).

Oh no I haven't got an email either!! That is really sad if I'm not even the 90%!! Super worried...

I haven't gotten an email either! Everytime I got an email today I was hoping it was from Penn!

Maybe they're sending them out by specialty. And I'm sure they're notifying those with earlier interview days earlier. Also are you sure they interview 90%?

Question: Does anyone else's profile say that materials are missing?! I know I sent all transcripts, but it's saying online that it has not been satisfied. Should I call? I know online it says not to call and I'll be notified if anything is missing... What should I do?!
