Hi there. I am applying for the UofA MEPN 2021 program this Fall, and thought I'd open up this thread for others also applying at this time.
A little about me - I was originally going to apply for the 2020 program, but delayed it a year due to the birth of my youngest in late 2019. I have quite a bit of healthcare experience before the birth of my children, as well as volunteer experience in other areas. I haven't taken the HESI yet, but my stats are 3.5 (last 60), and 3.8 (prerequisites). I have a Bachelors degree in Biology, and am *really* hopeful to make it into this MEPN program. My goal is to be a Nurse Practitioner ? One of my aspirations is to serve impoverished communities in third world countries.
Would love to hear from others, and open up dialogue regarding questions and general advice.

Hey MEPNrs - I used their sizing chart but I guess I measured myself wrong - I got a large scrub top and it's too big for me. Does anyone want to buy mine from me since I can't use it and apparently can't return it?

When did you send yours in? Also, have you tried logging into the gradapp and checking that way? That's how I found out before I got the official email!
Thanks for the responses ! I emailed an advisor about it and she said it’s normal. Plus I submitted the GradApp late (Jan 27) so I was kind of expecting this ? just wanted to make sure!

That's a little frustrating we can't return or exchange, I probably didn't measure correctly either but I am still waiting for mine to show up!!
Did you have yours shipped? If so, how long did it take and did they send you a tracking number?

Hey guys before I reach out to Jason I just wanted to check and see if anyone has already reached out for an answer about this. When I go on to schedule my drug test appointment there are certain labcorps that only do urine tests and others that do everything. Normally I would just think it's all urine but the fact that they are testing for alcohol and I have never had that done is making me wonder if that's something else? Does anyone know what type of test they are doing for the alcohol portion? I looked up the urine alcohol test and it says it can detect alcohol for up to 5 days so I didn't know if that was the route they were going or if it's just something like the saliva or breath test? Sorry I know that's a lot LOL just wondering if anyone got clarification on this before I ask Jason or end up scheduling at the wrong facility!

I believe it is a urine test. But great question, please keep us updated on what the verdict is ?
