Hi there. I am applying for the UofA MEPN 2021 program this Fall, and thought I'd open up this thread for others also applying at this time.
A little about me - I was originally going to apply for the 2020 program, but delayed it a year due to the birth of my youngest in late 2019. I have quite a bit of healthcare experience before the birth of my children, as well as volunteer experience in other areas. I haven't taken the HESI yet, but my stats are 3.5 (last 60), and 3.8 (prerequisites). I have a Bachelors degree in Biology, and am *really* hopeful to make it into this MEPN program. My goal is to be a Nurse Practitioner ? One of my aspirations is to serve impoverished communities in third world countries.
Would love to hear from others, and open up dialogue regarding questions and general advice.
I just wanna puke... keep checking my email... but based on my research and observation LOL, I think the school will send out the email this afternoon at 3:36pm LOL. Good luck.. I just cannot concentrate on anything else but thinking of this email...

I decided to get myself lunch from my favorite restaurant as a form of self care. I think we should all take the time to treat ourselves today (whatever that looks like for you) as we worked hard to get to this point and regardless of the outcome we deserve a little pampering today. GOOD LUCK ❤️

HAHA, I guess I was bored and kept looking at all the emails that UA has sent, then made my conclusion LOL. You are right that we have to treat ourselves today! I am going to get busy, if it is meant to be, it will happen. GOOD LUCK!
Currently unsubscribing from all the junk emails so I can stop having mini heart attacks every time my email pings...that’s a form of self-care right? LOL
