hello you guys, just called, lady said that the calls are all done. i have 88.8 points :/ better luck next time to those of you that didn't make it, see you in the fall lol.

Congrats to everyone who got in! I am at 88.6 points:/ hopeful for the fall semester. I called the office and they just told me the cut off was 92 points? :down:

They just called me back to clarify and they said the cutoff was high 88's we were very close!!

My heart dropped cause I thought they made a mistake with mine before I read the post about them calling you back lol the points haven't jumped from last semester. Keep up the work guys! You got this!

since I didn't get in.. My plan is to retake chemistry. Will that lower my top points? I have a little over 88 points now. Every time I speak with an advisor I get told something different, lol. í ½í¸³

I feel ya. I have been wondering if I was dreaming my call until I got the acceptance letter in the mail today. Also, I am retaking BIOL224 (my back up plan in case I didn't get accepted was to raise my grade from a B). I found out that I cannot drop the class because they take the last grade attempted. So, I also cannot get less than a B again. Thats a huge bummer because I totally started to slack in the class thinking I didn't need it since I already earned the minimum grade. UGH! Pressure is still on...

retaking classes does lower your score a little. instead of getting 3 attempt points for a class you would get only 2 pts (1st section of calculation worksheet). however it can be offset a little if you get an A the second time around. mseiboldt's comment below is correct. even if you get accepted while retaking a class for a higher score, if you fail the class you lose your spot in the program..they count the last attempt.

the only score you can improve without hurting the overall nursing score is getting a better score on your HESI. you have 2 attempts but they take the higher of the two scores. hope this helps!
