  1. Hey 9ja_grl ! Thank you so much! (: so you know how there are three sections to that calculation sheet? Calculate each section separately and then combine the points once you've finished each individual section calculation. And from what I remember when you are calculating your "middle" section with the class grades, for ex you're supposed to multiply an A which is a 4.0 By 4 to get 16 and a B+ is 3.0 and when you multiply that by 4 it should be 12 which would be 28 and then you divide that by 8.75 then you multiply that by 10. Sorry if it's confusing but I was trying to find one online to go off of it but couldn't. Either way, you have a good chance of getting in! The last 2 semesters have had high 88s for getting in! Good luck with everything and let me know when you get accepted
  2. Has anyone gone through a private loan company to pay for school? Majority of mine is being covered by FAFSA loans but i still need extra to cover bills. I've been reading a lot into loan reviews and they are kinda freaking me out lol
  3. Cmunro208 its awesome you're considering on becoming a nurse! i received a C in my math 120 too lol at the time i didn't know the requirements for UNLV but thats the only point i got docked off for a retake. BUT if you retake a science class with a previous grade of a B and you're trying to get an A then you won't have any points removed. hope that kinda helped? but if its going to be your first time taking the classes, strive for the A because in the beginning i always labeled myself as the "B" student and it ended up biting me in the butt for not trying harder lol
  4. Does anyone plan on working during the program? im kinda nervous on quitting.
  5. Hmmm are you currently enrolled in a prerequisite class like nurs 299? I'm honestly not too sure why because I was able to enroll
  6. Hey guys I made a page, I'm unfamiliar with how to work it but it's up and ready for people to join! It's called Unlv Nursing Summer Class of 2016
  7. I'm not too sure, I haven't even browsed for my books yet! Lol I think I'm going to purchase the bundle tho so I can leave physical copies of books at home at always have to books online with me at school. Luckily I was able to schedule my physical next Wednesday! I'm also taking cpr on Thursday too, so if anyone goes to theone at 11am I'll be there! I think I was sitting next to you mseiboldt cause I saw your last name on your folder
  8. Yeah I recieved my acceptance letter a few days ago reminding me about when I go to contract signing and orientation
  9. Retaking classes only lowers your score if your first attempt in the class was a fail. Otherwise if you've had a B and retaking for an A it will improve your score. I retook both Chem and bio 223 and it helped a lot
  10. Haha no worries! Thanks gabby! See ya there in fall!
  11. My heart dropped cause I thought they made a mistake with mine before I read the post about them calling you back lol the points haven't jumped from last semester. Keep up the work guys! You got this!
  12. Extremely weird how they are dispersing calls this time around.I'm hopeful for you guys! Keep us updated if you receive the calls !
  13. When I called I asked if they've finished up calls, but the lady was nice enough to check for me. She said they are doing calls until the 15th
