So I'm going to try this whole process over again, as a repeat offender...I mean applicant for UW's BSN program 2014. I applied last year, made it through the proctored essay portion but was not accepted. After nursing (haha) my wounds w/ large amounts of ice cream, chocolate & such, I've recently found my mojo to try again. Anyone else re-applying or 1st time applying for 2014? I know it's extremely early in the game, but those deadlines come up faster than you think! I've saved all the tips applicants that have applied more than once and hope that 2nd time is the charm.

Not sure. I wrote them to ask. I think on one spot of the packet, it says postmarked by, but in other places (and on the website), it says that it needs to be received by.
Eh. There's really nothing I can do about it now. It is in the mail SOMEWHERE in Seattle. I am hoping that it gets there before the expected delivery date on the USPS website, or that they say it's okay if it is postmarked but if not... well, I will deal with it.
I was just notified this afternoon that I would not be released from my career field in order to apply to the scholarship program that would pay for my tuition & books (military thing) now I have to try to pursue other avenues if I get into school -_- grrrrr!
Made a last-ditch effort at the local post office this morning. Asked them if there was any way for me to track it down and deliver it myself. No chance, but I thought I would try. I am hoping that either 1. they accept it since it was postmarked from earlier or 2. it somehow manages to get there today despite what the USPS site tells me. Maybe it was delivered to a UW mail distribution center and they no longer track it? Fingers crossed, anyway.
Hey guys, I've been following the thread and thread from last year (My 3rd time applying), I was debating whether or not to post for fear I would be too emotionally invested if I were rejected again haha. Best wishes to everyone! =)
