Good morning!
So I'm going to try this whole process over again, as a repeat offender...I mean applicant for UW's BSN program 2014. I applied last year, made it through the proctored essay portion but was not accepted. After nursing (haha) my wounds w/ large amounts of ice cream, chocolate & such, I've recently found my mojo to try again. Anyone else re-applying or 1st time applying for 2014? I know it's extremely early in the game, but those deadlines come up faster than you think! I've saved all the tips applicants that have applied more than once and hope that 2nd time is the charm.
Anyone else out there getting ready for it? We got this
Hey guys I'm totally new to this forum! Anyway I found this topic and this is exactly what I need.
I'm going to the proctored essay today but it seems like you guys have more experiences than myself. This is my first time applying to UW and I have absolutely no idea about the questions of the essay.
Will we be allowed to use calculator for the math questions? I suck at math so just to make sure lol
Tram and land don't worry, it really is i can't stress simple math. Just breathe and take it slow.. (well you only have hour to do essay and questions, so not too slow =P) the math questions are basically like a patient weighs x lbs. he needs to take 5mg of some substance per pound he weighs in a 24 hr period. how many grams of the substance will you give him in a day?
as for the questions i am so nervous.. in the past you pick a scanario and explain why. and then strengths and weakensses play into a part somewhere. however i feel i get sidetracked haha

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but I've been reading all your advice and amazed at all the support you guys give each other. I'm a junior at UW and was also invited to do the proctored essay tomorrow. I wish everyone here the best of luck.
