University of Washington (UW) - Summer 2019 ABSN

Hello everyone,

who is preparing to apply for the UW ABSN program? Applications start on August 2018 and school starts on June 18th 2019. I was informed I have to do the prerequisites so I decided to that in a local community college. Any body having hard time or on the track of doing their prereq??

All feedbacks welcome, and any kind of helpful hints that has helped you!

Anyone else on the waitlist still? I haven’t heard of any movement yet and it sounds like we won’t hear back about any movement until BSN get their responses right?

@nurslady182 - I am in the ABSN cohort ahead of you and the largest movement generally occurs once the BSN cohort is announced which I believe will be next week or so... best of luck!

Hi, I received an email from Adrian on 4/8 saying I had moved up 3 spots on the waitlist. Hopefully, we’ll hear more in the coming weeks.

I am now #23 so I have a much longer time to wait to hear about acceptance if I get it haha

Per my instagram feed it looks like BSN announcements went out yesterday so fingers crossed for those of you on the waitlist! This is usually when you see the most movement over the next few weeks as people decide which program to attend.

i was waitlisted at #32, but i just got accepted to the BSN, so i’ll be dropping my spot. hopefully this will help someone who is high up on the waitlist :) good luck to you all!

Finally made an account because I've been having so many questions. For those on the WAITLIST I wanted to get an idea of what your current plans are. Are you in at other schools? So many start long before UW which makes this waiting game tricky especially since there has been very little movement ?

Wanted to see how others are feeling at the moment!

Waiting to see how I feel after the announcement I hope is coming this week on our waitlist #. If it moves a lot I will become more hopeful. Not in at other schools so I am really hoping I get into to this program ?
