University of Washington (UW) DNP 2021

Updated:   Published

Looked for another thread but couldn't find one, anyone applying to University of Washington's (UW) DNP program starting Autumn 2021?

What track is everyone applying to?

Does anyone know if any one thing is worth more weight in admissions (GPA, LORs, Experience, etc.)?

Does anyone know the profile of a competitive applicant? Someone in the 2020 thread posted a link for admission stats from 2018, looked like around a 35-45% acceptance rate, depending on the track.  I haven't been able to find any updated information. Anyone have any?

I'll be applying to the Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP track!

Unfortunately I was not accepted Good luck to everyone who was.

I am sorry you weren’t accepted.  Was your portal updated with the status? If so, what did it say?

FNP applicant here! Anyone gotten an email/phone call whose application status says "Congratulations on your offer"? I just want to make sure that it's for real!

I applied to FNP and my application said congratulations an offer

Hi, I applied to the AGPC and was offered admission through the portal like other people on this thread. Hopefully you will also hear back soon!

I am just curious to know if everyone who received a change to their portal today or phone call/email is a resident of Washington? I noticed that myself and others who have posted who still have it say "submitted" are nonresident applicants.....not sure if that may have something to do with it?

I’m not sure. A friend of mine who is on an admissions committee at another university said that it sometimes means those students whose portals aren’t updated immediately are waitlisted.

It sure is nail bitingly frustrating.  I just want to know whether I’ve been accepted or rejected and stop hanging in limbo.

I live in the Seattle area and my still says submitted. I’d imagine where you live is something they take into consideration though.

Those of you who didn’t get it this time, don’t get discouraged and apply again next year!
