University of Washington (UW) DNP 2021

Updated:   Published

Looked for another thread but couldn't find one, anyone applying to University of Washington's (UW) DNP program starting Autumn 2021?

What track is everyone applying to?

Does anyone know if any one thing is worth more weight in admissions (GPA, LORs, Experience, etc.)?

Does anyone know the profile of a competitive applicant? Someone in the 2020 thread posted a link for admission stats from 2018, looked like around a 35-45% acceptance rate, depending on the track.  I haven't been able to find any updated information. Anyone have any?

I'll be applying to the Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP track!

Per their admissions department, there were 41 applicants for the AGACNP program that I applied to.  Historically, that’s an average number of applicants.  Plus, they usually accept 15-25 students for those cohorts.

*sigh*

I guess it’s time to go home and bury myself in a snowbank until I receive the official rejection email.

Were you able to click on acceptance button?

You gotta go to "check application" page.

I was not. It says we must wait 1-2 days business days to accept/decline.

I’m assuming if it stills says submitted that would be a rejected application. Oh well.

congrats to all who got in and good luck in your future career!
