Anyone applying to the UW SoN for fall 2013? Anyone else FREAKING OUT about it like I am?
I wish I could be more help but I ets'd a little over a year ago! I did work at Madigan when I was in the Army as a medic/lpn. I had worked with a lot of great Army nurses, and Air Force nurses who did the commissioning program and had no regrets. When I was still at Fort Lewis, I know the army nursing students worked with the ROTC cadets on North Fort during the Summer running clinics and stuff, but that was a few years ago. Best of luck though! I know there are a few veterans in our class, if that helps ease your mind a little :)
Did anyone get an email from UW today saying to set up a UW NetID. Well I don't know why we should do that if the school of nursing haven't accepted us yet. I am patiently waiting for a reply from the school of nursing. I can't sleep, eat or take a shower. Just checking my mail box everyday. Hope this is over soon. 3 or 4 more weeks to know.
I did as well.....

I also got the email.
Well great then. You're at least half way there! I also am a transfer. I guess I need to check the mail at my parent's house to see if the UW letter has come yet. I did get the e-mail also but I'm sure they sent it to everyone who applied to the school.
Come April I will be at my parent's throat everyday about what has come in the mail haha My mom better turn her texting on!

Hey army nurse, do you work at Madigan by any chance or in the army nursing commissioning program? I'm going for the Air Force nursing commissioning program & would love to ask you a few questions as far as how reporting to your Detachment, classes, etc work for you if you don't mind :)
