Anyone applying to the UW SoN for fall 2013? Anyone else FREAKING OUT about it like I am?

If it's like last year, we really only have 36 days! :D if they're already starting the review, I'm hoping that's what it means!

For current students, what is your typical day like? Class time & clinical time? I know it's not going to be the same for everyone, but trying to see what a regular week of school is like. What to expect for hours, so I can see if I can take the train/bus or should drive (I live in Puyallup), as well as what child care I'll need to arrange. I know it's subject to change, but any examples are greatly appreciated! I know I'm probably jinxing myself, bc I don't even know of I've been accepted, but I like to plan ahead :)

Fall qtr (last qtr) for some of us we would have lab mon or tues and then one day of clinical on tues or wed, thurs and fridays we had class all day I think until 3pm or so. Some of us were lucky and had mondays off and some did not. This qtr we are in class mon-wed and have clinical thurs and friday from 7-3ish. Some are doing peds rotation so their clinical days and times are a little different.

What I would suggest to you when you get in is to take the summer classes they offer if you can afford it. Especially the health assessment class (Nclin 302) it will make your life SO MUCH EASIER your first qtr, trust me!!

Each day of your first quarter is a little different and labs and clinical can be at totally different times, just depends on what you get. But, last quarter my schedule looked a little like this... Expect to be BUSY.

I completely understand that regardless of hours, life will be pretty much consumed of studying, reading, and writing papers, care plans, etc, can I kind of, clinicals not included, assume that I'd be at school 7-4ish Monday thru Friday? Are clinicals usually 12 hours? This is great info, btw, thank you!

Didn't see your post abalone, sorry! Thank you, that's awesome! I know it's not going to be the exact same but it relieves my stress a little knowing its kind of like what I thought it would with set (sorta) around daytime hours. C'mon April, hurry up, I just want to know already :D

If the military will let me, I def will take a summer class, it all depends on what they allow with the military program I'm applying to.

Ha, This wait is almost as bad as the stretch between spring break and summer vacation when I was in middle school. lol :confused:

I'm dying to find out!! I've applied to PLU & SPU as well. SU is my #1 though. :Fingers crossed:: Happy to hear letters are coming out mid march. Thanks for the info!
