So I just called today to dropout. They gave student until July 26 to register, if they don't then waiting list people can get their spot. So good luck to everyone who is in the program!!

Hello I did get call I think last Wednesday that I got in. I will give them call tomorrow to drop out.

I got into UW health managment and health informatics certificate program back in may. But I was just waiting to see if I can get into nursing program and do my master's in informatics afterward.

I am starting my other program today and will be paying tuition fee and there is no refund after today. I wish Renton had replied back by now. I wish all of u good luck :)

I don't what is taking them so long to make decision. Hopefully they will tell us by next week!!

I have applied there before but was rejected because i didn't have Tdap. I took them only 2 wks to reply back. they call u on your phone to tell. Have u gotten call yet?? I just wanna know if i got in or not so I can decide between 2 programs.

I called SU today to ask about why I was rejected. My GPA is not that great but I applied to due my healthcare experience hoping to get in. Advisor was really nice. She told me this year was very competitive. Most of people got rejected because they still had one or two pre-req in process. And most people who got accepted had GPA between 3.4-3.6 or above.. I was surprise she took the time to look at my application and told me to what to do for next year application cycle. Whoever got into SU big congratulation, I think its great school. Now I am thinking I should apply there next year :)

I got the same exact thing I m going to call them see what did they mean by reconsider.

I have friends both in UW and Seattle U's nursing programs. Both programs are equally good. Only thing Seattle U is more expensive. But whatever u pick u will good education!!

Thank you Jessica S and SaraFutureNurse for your kind words. I will be applying to Renton Tech for fall 2013. hopefully will get in there, if not I am going to attend Eastern Washington U for Health managment and informatics program ( i m already in the program). Good luck everyone :)

Rejected. This was my second attempt toward UW nursing program. Good luck everyone. (I live in renton and letter was mailed as of yesterday)

Time to start stalking mail box. Admission blog just been updated. "We thank you for taking the time and effort to apply to our programs. Because we are unable to speak with every applicant individually, we are posting the most common and consistent reasons applicants were not offered admission to the BSN program. Many factors contribute to why the admissions committee may have denied an applicant. Please carefully review this list of common reasons for denial. Be sure to take into consideration that though a majority of applicants meet the minimum criteria and are generally competitive for admission to the program, each applicant is scored and considered in relation to her/his competitiveness within the entire pool of applicants. The UW School of Nursing received many more applications than spaces available in the program. Unfortunately, we are unable to admit every applicant."

@suzw u shuld take CNA class through these private institute. It only 3 to 4 weeks and cost is pretty much same. Also I was going through Seattle U blog from last year. They received letter end of march. So hopefully u will find before Spring starts. Also I m going to take TEAS test for EVCC and Samuel Merritt University in Cali. I already took it once but only got 72% ..I trying to figure out how to study for it.
