University of Washington DNP applicants

Hey -

I am a recent grad from Duke University ABSN and am applying to the University of Washington DNP - FNP program. I was just curious if there is anyone else out there that also applied to the Fall 2014 start DNP program at UW.

It would be nice to discuss the process together. :-)

I applied for the adult-gerontological nurse practitioner DNP program. Called admissions before and was told that last year there were 40 applicants for that specialty. Hope to hear from them soon!

Hey everyone. Looks like I am in the same boat with good company waiting to hear about our admissions status. Anyone else checking mail frequently? Definitely ready to hear back :). Anyone moving to WA from out of state? I'll be coming from Texas!

So I message for confirmation on how notification will occur. They will snail mail only. Also, they are finalizing acceptance now. Not sure what that means, but hopefully mail soon.

When I went to the last info session, Carolyn said that we would be getting both email and snail mail confirmation, but perhaps that has now changed. Typical :)

Lol my mailman and I had a conversation about me waiting for him by the mailbox. Lol. He is a really nice guy. Learned his daughter is an OR nurse.
