It changed back to 'under review' for me. Anyone get in? I'm worried I just got waitlisted

"Currently Under Review". I didn't get into UNBC or TRU, not even on the waitlist. I think there are too many applicants, they need to open more seats.

UVIC is my Number 1 choice, since the beginning, so I'm staying optimistic!

What is the difference between "currently under review" and "under review by department"? Does the latter mean that we didn't get in and the under review are potential? Those that got waitlisted last year what did it say?

I talked to someone in the Grad dept. this week and she said they'll be releasing the results before the end of the month. She said online it will update to accepted or rejected, but if you're waitlisted it will still say 'Under review'. An email will also be sent out that sometimes goes to spam, so look for that if your status doesn't change, it would tell you if you're waitlisted or not.

Last Summer, I found out that the post-degree NP cohort embedded within the bigger class has 5 seats available, only had 12 applicants last year, and only looks at your Master's GPA, not the undergrad. 

I think it's good news for the people whose status is "under review" as it may mean you're waitlisted. Mine hasn't changed - still says under review by department  :(

Clarification: mine says "Under Review by Department" previously was "Under Review by Graduate Admissions"
