Published

Good news for the people in Oklahoma. The University of Tulsa is up for initial accreditation from the Council on Accreditation for the Fall of 2016. Hopefully all goes well and we will finally have a CRNA program in the state of Oklahoma.

Does anyone know if the organic/biochemistry requirement is needed before applying?

Anyone applying without this course?

I'm applying without it. I emailed and was told they would consider people without it.

I didn't even see that. I'm just reading it. Majority of CRNA schools just require general chemistry, with a few requiring organic chemistry and/or biochemistry. Although CowboyMedic says it's not require, I recommend taking it over the summer, if possible. It could really help you out in the long run. I taken Ochem I & finishing Ochem II.

If I get accepted and they say take Organic Chemistry over the summer then I will take it (if that will be a condition for a spot in the program).

This is what I was planning to do as well.

I wonder when interviews will take place.

I know 2 people who emailed and asked about this requirement, and they said they would consider their application without it.

Anyone know what to expect about the interview?! I am really curious how long and how many they are interviewing.

WHAT?!?!?! The application period isn't even finished yet.

Are you in Oklahoma? When did they say interviews would be?
