Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

I thought I would start a thread for those applying to UTA for Fall 2013; AP or on-campus. I will be applying to both and am hoping to find a job at a partnered hospital before the January 5, 2012 deadline.

hey, I took that class my freshman year but my teacher which rymes with riddy did not make us do all the stuff that everyone else did and I was definetly able to take a lot of classes with that class. the test are common sense no need for the book and the thing that takes some time is the notebook
I got into both and as of now i'm planning to accept the in-seat

Thank you soooo much Chem
I didn't want to buy a book that I may not need.
Thanks again, and best wishes :-)

Not wanting names but who took chem online at UTA? Worried about an online class that has online labs too. Please pass along any info. I would be taking it with stats in person at another school and med terminology.

I have to make a decision between the on campus and the AP waitlist. I guess I will be on campus; no reason to turn a sure thing.

I took CHEM1451 online and did the labs in my kitchen... Not bad, but I am a chemistry nerd, so it was actually an enjoyable class for me. I also took HIST1311 and HIST 1312 during that same semester...
@TWiersch... I'm about to finish my JR1 semester in the AP BSN program... I will warn you that if you feel that way now, just wait until you get into the AP program... Be prepared to say that all time... "all I do is study, study, study... " I don't think I know what it's like to relax anymore... LOL... That's my life, with a Full Time job, wife, and kids... Plus I drive from my home to Dallas (2+ hours each way) for my weekend clinicals... But totally worth it.Congrats to everyone accepted, for those waitlisted, don't lose hope (I was waitlisted)... You can do it!Don

Hi Don
Hope you are doing great.
Pls how are the clinicals set up? Is it every single weekend from the time the program starts to when it ends? Also how many hours per day are the clinicals? 8 or 12 hours? And is the schedule the same till graduation like does it remain on weekends till we graduate or does it change from semester to semester? Do we get any breaks in between the program?
So many questions, pls forgive me, just want to know what to expect :-)
Thanks
