I do believe that you will have no problem getting into the program as you already have a Masters degree and real world experience, I got in with an MHA as main consideration.
And taking your prereqs at DCCCD is a good idea, plus saves you money at the same time ;-)
Also, the partner hospital list is given by the clinical instructor, or your advisor may know earlier on, and inform you, it depends.
Being waitlisted just puts candidates on the list to be called if someone who was accepted decides to go to school elsewhere, otherwise you'll be reevaluated with the next application period.
