  1. I am finishing up J1. If things are the same for you guys as for us, you will have assessment and its lab, j believe the same day, foundations class and promotions the same day (promotions is only 1/2 semester) and then foundation clinical one day. The first seven weeks are spent at the school for foundations clinical and is generally 8-5 instead of 6:30-3:30 for at the hospital. Hope that helps.
  2. I am definitely very excited to start. I will be working in the milk bank so I will be easy to find. Congrats and good luck with the baby.
  3. I start at Cook in the NICU on the 15th. I never thought I would even get an interview with them.
  4. Lharvick-What department do you work in a Cook?
  5. Nursing kit is around $218 if you use the same as on campus.
  6. For any of you on campus, can you give me an idea of your schedule for this first semester? I'm a planner and not having a clue how to schedule my daughter's childcare is driving me crazy. Thanks in advance.
  7. I just about ran into the same problem. I have a previous bachelors and applied to a BSN and ADN program; luckily I got into the BSN program so it was not an issue. I didn't even realize it would be an issue with the ADN program until I received an email stating that due to me having a bachelor's they would have to have more information to see if I qualified. I would suggest taking out the private loans only if you have to, but make sure to only take out the minimum you need. This way you are covered if you cannot find a job immediately to help out. Good luck on whatever decision you make.
  8. The only problem I see is that if you do not withdrawal and cannot complete all the courses and pass them, then no one will be allowed to fill that spot since they don't fill spots after orientation. I also was accepted and, if in your situation, would accept and make sure everything was done and passed. My reason is because my husband and I are both ready for me to get back to work. You need to think about your 'why' and determine if you can wait an extra semester; with your grades I don't think it would hurt you getting accepted a second time.
  9. I think one would be good.
  10. That would be good. Two separate or one combined?
