Hey everyone! I just submitted my primary and secondary application to the Advanced Emergency Nursing NP program at USA for the Spring 2015. Has anyone else applied? I thought this would be a great way to meet potential class mates and to update everyone on application statuses. Ready, set, go!!

I'm in the program and this has been the experience. Slow correspondence and sometimes incorrect information.

it would have been nice to have least received an email updating us. Not sure I really want to deal with this type of communication the next couple of years!

Hey guys, I've seen on other posts in other threads about this school how they saw what GPA was calculated by NursingCAS. I was just curious if anyone around here knows how to look that info up or was it something that was just being mentioned in other students' decision letters?

Login > manage my programs > program status > university of south alabama download icon to bring up your application

My GPA is the same so I'm not sure how other people's are different. This is the only way I got to look at a GPA on nursing CAS

Thanks, tweety1023. I just looked it up, but it looks as though NursingCAS is just figuring everything up as it is entered. I'm assuming U.S.A. will do any necessary adjusting as per their stated admission requirements which would have my GPA different than what NursingCAS has listed. I dunno. Is what it is.

Someone posted on another thread that they called and they said letters are being sent out July 1st. Another person said that they called and they told them they are being sent out the week of July 6th...

So it continues...

Ugh. I'm so tired of checking the mail and being disappointed. I need an answer so I know what my next steps are.

Wow so basically we will be getting our letters less than a month prior to starting the program?! thats not a whole lot of time to prepare!

I just received this email (I did not email them first)

Dear Applicant to Fall 2015 MSN Program,

This email is to inform you we were unable to process the fall applications in the time originally scheduled; therefore, you have not yet received our decision letter regarding admission to the MSN program for Fall 2015. We anticipate these decision letters will be mailed out by July 8, 2015; however we are trying our best to send them out sooner. Usually we only send out a decision letter via the US Postal Service but this time we will also email everyone to let you know our decision. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

And did you guys see every applicants email listed too.. Ugh.. Such a violation.. Haha now I know everyone that's applying to the MSN program .. Smh . God luck to all of us!
