  1. Congrats! I guess that answers the question about your experience. 😃
  2. The dual role is an emergency nursing program (or at least it was when I applied). The specific experience requirements are something you would need to check with the program director about. I'm not sure what will count and what will not. Wish I could be more help.
  3. If you don't have the required experience, there is an additional class you will have to register for before you start the actual clinical portion of school. The "class" requires 120 clinical hours to be completed in your specialty area. I had this class on my curriculum, but I started working full time in the ER so I won't have to take it. I have 8 years ER experience, but it has been 5 years ago. So I have the required experience, it just isn't recent enough for the program. I hope this helps.
  4. I am. I am still waiting on the letter from admissions saying I have been officially admitted to the school. I assume I will get one even though I got one for the MSN program. I am still waiting on my class schedule also.
  5. I haven't. I received the email stating my packet was received and marked complete, but nothing from the actual admissions office. I already have a JAG email and ID, so I have been checking for updates to my information, but still nothing.
  6. Good luck to all the Summer MSN students starting class today!
  7. Good luck to all the Summer MSN students starting class today!
  8. Good luck to everyone waiting to hear about MSN Fall admission. I was accepted to the summer program and it took about 9-10 weeks from the deadline to get the acceptance letters. The DNP program took a bit longer. We just got acceptance letters around the 4th or 5th of May. The wait is long and worrisome, but it will be over before you know it. Good luck, again!

  10. I created a Facebook page for USA BSN-DNP Advanced Emergency Dual Role NP Fall 2015
  11. Congratulations on your acceptance!
  12. Thank you! I'm going to do the BSN-DNP route. They're both 9 semesters so I would be crazy not to.
  13. I was accepted to the BSN-DNP Advanced Emergency Dual Role program. Sooo excited!
  14. I created a Facebook group for the Emergency / Dual Role NP Fall 2015 class. I would love to connect with others that got accepted!
