Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to USA for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey. Also, I am currently based in FL, anyone else from out of state care to share their experiences with this program being online and all? How was it finding a clinical site and preceptor?

Hi @Lipoma welcome to the forum! Oh gosh, that seems so far away from now! Have you done both applications or just NursingCAS? I'm still waiting for all of my transcripts to be sent in.

It does seem far away but I don't mind the wait. I have submitted both the Primary and Secondary apps.

I applied for the BSN to DNP dual FNP/ENP program for Fall 2021. I don't think we will be hearing from AdComs about our application until 8-10 weeks after the February 2021 deadline.

The cost is highly attractive.

that’s what they sent me... 8 weeks after the August 1st deadline

I applied for Fall 2021 NNP BSN-DNP as well. Also a South Floridian :)

Yay for another South Floridian! Like I really find it hard to believe that there are no NNP programs in Florida, but what can we do you know.

OMG! Congratulations @tiffanyrpollock I am so excited for you! When did you finish your primary and secondary applications? I am still waiting on my transcripts to be received by NursingCAS.

I finished my primary and all of my transcripts for received by 7/30. I then hurried and completed my secondary the same day in order for my application to be considered for this upcoming Spring. It took like a month for nursingcas to receive all my transcripts

Hey y’all I just found out I’ve been accepted to the Spring 2021 FNP class. Anyone else going for the same? I am currently working on getting everything uploaded into castle branch.

CONGRATS girl!!

I got accepted for the nnp program. I hate Castlebranch... that’s what’s holding me back from wanting to go to USA

Hi everyone! I’m applying for the FNP concentration in the BSN to DNP program for Fall 2021. Just submitted the NursingCAS app today. I currently work in NICU, and I also have years of postpartum and adult experience. I have a coworker who is in the NNP program (MSN) at USA and likes it. Best of luck to you all and hopefully we all get in! ?
