University of San Francisco Summer 2014 MSN CNL for non-nurses

Hello everyone,

This thread is for the University of San Francisco Masters in Clinical Nurse Leader Program for non-nurses (Summer 2014 cohort) I didn't see one so I decided to make one. Anyone else applying?

I got the call too earlier this afternoon! I'm so excited and relieved! Congrats to everyone else who got in! I'll see you all at orientation this Monday! :D

Oh my gosh I got in also!!!!!! I just finished two job interviews today and when I walked out I had a missed call from USF!!!

Hey everyone!

I was placed on the waitlist as well and I just got a call this afternoon and I got accepted! I have no idea how I'm going to get all of this together in such a short period of time because I was almost positive I wasn't getting in. I look forward to meeting you all this coming Monday!

Gosh I don't even know how I'm going to get there this Monday because I live across the Bay and I know parking will be impossible and public transportation is confusing...how do you all plan on getting to school?

I live in Oakland right off Broadway (by the Boston Market and Safeway specifically)...I was hoping if some of us lived close enough to each other we could find a way to carpool!...or get lost together via Bart/Muni because I have not done public transportation in years, lol.

@JTekin I'm going to be coming from LA as well! Any thoughts/ideas of where you're going to be staying?

Congrats!!

I'm in cohort 17, and I have a few books for sale: 1) Fundamentals of Nursing (Potter 8th ed). 2) Epidemiology (Gordis 5th ed). 3) Health Assessment Across the Lifespan (Bickley 11th ed). According to the USF bookstore they will be the same books for this upcoming summer semester (Cohort 18).

Private message me--I'll be on campus tomorrow (Monday the 12'th) taking my last 2 final exams for this semester. I'll sell them first come/first serve OBO. (I'm selling them for way cheaper than the bookstore and 20% cheaper than Amazon).
