I applied for the USF nursing program as a transfer student for fall of 2016. I was looking at the form someone created last year of fall 2015 and it seemed to be very helpful to those who are applying and waiting for an answer, likewise as myself.
My GPA is not too high but I have tons of volunteering and work experience. I am really nervous to hear back from them.Has anyone heard back from USF already? and if so what are your stats?

Hello and welcome!
So I sent an email to the Office of Admissions regarding when decisions are made for transfer nursing students and I received a reply today saying that they have begun initial review of applications. The process will take some time and they anticipate releasing decisions sometime in early May.
To help ease the wait. Who applied with all pre reqs done and who applied with some pre reqs still needed to be done? And what are you looking forward to this summer? :)
That's extremely frustrating. I'm definitely putting my intent to enroll for a different BSN program now. The intent to enroll for most programs is May 1st which is also non-refundable and expensive. To have usf be a private university, I was hoping they would be somewhat more urgent with their admission notifications.
@annieyu185 I've applied to sjsu, csueb, usf, dominican, and hpu. I've already got admitted to both dominican and hpu. Still waiting on the other programs.
Hey! Congrats! Welcome to Oahu, Hawaii. I lived there for the past two years. Hiking and water events would be the best stress relief therapies. HPU is a private college on Oahu and lots of people go there. Anyway, best luck to you and your future nursing career! :)

i have almost all my pre recs done. I am working on A&P (last quarter) and microbiology right now but other then that I am all done. I heard they really look into your experience though and your letter of recommendation takes a big part in it too.
I emailed the admissions office and they said they made a decision for me on April 20 and I should be receiving a letter soon. Good or bad I'm excited to finally get the decision! Hang in there everybody it's coming soon!
