University of San Diego MEPN FALL 2021

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone. Just starting a thread for those who are applying for USD's MEPN Program for Fall 2021. I just finished my undergrad in Allied Health. I have done my prereqs previously. For nursingCAS, are we required to take TEAS test? I do not know how will I start with my application. Anyone here had previously applied and reapplying again?

I see- thank you!

what about the login someone mentioned earlier? I do not see if my material was approved.

I am feeling so anxious! How is everyone!

I’m feeling anxious too! I’m curious to know how many people applied this cycle!

I checked the portal and my application status says “incomplete, application material outstanding” so hopefully that changes in due time considering I turned everything in! ?

MINE TOO! Glad I’m not the only one.

I think I read on the program website that they will be looking over applications till December 15, is that not right? So will they only be sending the decisions in January?

Maybe committee review for “first cuts”... not sure

USD is the only school I applied to for next fall. I am really hoping to get into this program as well. Can't wait for the result to come out. Are we still having interviews even virtual ones?

Not sure. I hope. I feel interview is necessary for the program. Why did you choose to only apply to one school?

@Greennurse42 I took my prerequisites before I joined the navy and that was 5-6 years ago. Finally, getting out next year. Some schools require at least Anatomy & Physiology to be taken within 5 years. I took my TEAS test too before I joined. Also, some schools in San Diego Area offer bachelor's degree only (even accelerated), but I want to use my GI bill for a graduate program to make it even more worth it, that's why USD sounds really great to me. I have co-workers who are alumni of USD and they highly recommend the program. Fell in love w/ the school when I visited it. I just feel like this is the school I really want to attend. Plus, being married, limits the school I can apply and attend. I had to limit myself around San Diego County only.

I see. I am quite nervous for the results.
I believe USD has a 10% admission acceptance for the MEPN program.

Yes, I heard about it. We'll see...
