I just got accepted into U of R's accelerated bachelors nursing program. Just wanted to start a thread to see who else is going there!

Hello! I applied for the Spring 2012 as well. I sent in the application a few weeks ago and still haven't heard anything. I am very anxious, but it sounds like they are still wrapping things up for this coming Fall. If anyone for the Spring 2012 program hears anything, keep us posted :)!

UPDATE fellow Spring 2012 applicants :)

I just received a phone call and was informed I am scheduled for a phone interview Aug 1st! AH I'm really excited (and nervous already?)! Anyone else?

Past applicants -

Did anyone do an interview over the phone? I've done interviews in person, but never over the phone, so I was wondering if you felt you were able to portray yourself accurately in a phone conversation? Did you do anything special to prepare for a phone interview versus an in-person interview? And what type of questions did they ask?

I applied for Spring 2012 and I have an interview next Wednesday. Im super nervous, since everyone gets an interview.

I realize that most everyone on this thread has applied for the September 2011 cohort, but I can't find any posts on the site about fellow applicants to the Spring 2012 start. Just wondering if any of you are also silent viewers of this thread? I just sent in my application a day ago and wondering if anyone has heard back about interviews or otherwise...

I'm scheduled for a phone interview Aug 1st. Are you sure that everyone gets an interview? From what I've read from previous posts on this thread it seems that due to the increasingly high numbers of applications (~500 last cycle) they only interview the top 200 applicants or so. However, I could have misunderstood.

Good to know that they only review the top 200. An interview is a required part of the admission process, so I misunderstood. . Good luck on your interview and I will let you know next week how my interview goes :)
