I just got accepted into U of R's accelerated bachelors nursing program. Just wanted to start a thread to see who else is going there!
Hello
I have just been accepted into the accelerated program this fall and will be attending! I am originally from Rochester and will be moving back home for this program this fall. If anyone has any questions about the Rochester area or housing I am more then happy to help. I also am living with my parents in a 4 bedroom house and we are willing to rent out rooms this fall as well. I look forward to meeting everyone!
Hi Everyone,
Looks like I'll be heading to Rochester this Fall as well. It's all very exciting. I was wondering if anyone else is planning to go without a car? I asked during my interview and got a "yes, but" sorta answer and would like some students' opinions. I'd prefer to go without, but if not having a car is going to be a constant headache, I'll go ahead and get one.
For those who were waitlisted... have you heard anything yet??
Yes, I was waitlisted and finally received an offer this past week. :) So relieved!
Not sure how they're doing the waitlist. When I initially asked I was told that there is no ranking system, and they just review the applications again. I know of someone else on the waitlist who was also offered a spot last week too. Seems to just be a long process so it helps to be patient. Good luck!
Hi everyone! New here, been reading through the thread and finally decided to join since no one has made the FB page lol. I made one for the 2012 SON cohort!! Come join!
Helloo :]
I realize that most everyone on this thread has applied for the September 2011 cohort, but I can't find any posts on the site about fellow applicants to the Spring 2012 start. Just wondering if any of you are also silent viewers of this thread? I just sent in my application a day ago and wondering if anyone has heard back about interviews or otherwise...
Thanks!
Sorry all, had the wrong date on the FB group before. Fixed it!

I would just skip the school housing and find an apartment complex nearby. Private and probably cheaper. I haven't looked in the housing book so I don't know what's in it.
