I just got accepted into U of R's accelerated bachelors nursing program. Just wanted to start a thread to see who else is going there!

Syberian, I just finished my interview. Not sure how it went but it was about an hour and a half. I am keeping my fingers crossed but have no idea. She gave me a tour of the facilities, and now I am getting nervous about hearing back from them. She told me that they will let me know from mid May to June. Best of luck to everyone.

I graduated from the generic program when they had it. This is a great, very competitive school. Good luck to all that get in. I have precepted many students from the program. From what I have been told, plan to work esp hard.

I have never had a phone interview and i'm just super anxious, anyone has any tips on how to survive one?

Hey Nat,

I think I was only asked four questions, if that. Most of the interview was her talking about the program. She went over the courses for each semester for all three years. She gave me a tour of the nursing campus. She told a lot of stories. I was only asked the basic nursing questions. Why nursing, why u of r, how do you see yourself in 5 years, and greatest strength/weakness. Who do you have your interview with? Good luck and if you have any further questions, please ask. Hi Nat,

You just have to call ******* and pick a date from the days/times she has available. You have the choice of either a phone interview or you can go in and interview in person. Normally phone interviews are more flexible. I have narrowed my list down and U of R is the only school that I am considering. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. What about you?
