Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the 50 or so spots for the accelerated program are specifically for the ABPNN? ...or are they for both the bachelors and masters programs?

Has anyone done or scheduled for the 2nd interview yet?

I don't know about anyone else but I had my 1st interview beginning of December and haven't heard anything about the 2nd one, which scares the heck out of me because I thought the 1st went pretty darn good!

I didn't apply for the master's track so I don't know how the second interview works, but I have not heard anything from admissions or any other applicants about decisions being mailed or people receiving an acceptance call. I wouldn't worry too much, it seems like they're still reviewing applicants...

when i had my interview back in november, the lady who interviewed me told me that a second interview would be arranged with ... and that i should get in contact with the office; i called a week later because i didn't hear from anyone. i was told that a committee would come together to arrange second interviews upon recommendations and that there was no record of a recommendation made from the lady who interviewed me.

i called back in december before the holidays to ask about the second interview. they told me to hang in there; they understand the waiting's tough. i was told that staff would start reviewing the first interviews and applications as soon as this week; they're going to make decisions about second interviews from recommendations (from our interviewers). so hang in there, they'll probably be calling sometime next week if not the week after! (crossing my fingers)

I actually spoke with ****** this on Wednesday. She told me that the masters committee are still reviewing applications and should decide who they want to interview within the next few weeks.

This wait is painful.

I got a call before xmas. My interview was in nov. I did not apply to the msn part. this is not for the accelerated program, sorry

Obiobio - you are exactly right! So, they have actually increased the number of spots from ~100 to ~150 for the year.

Yup, that's what I found out also! Now just to sit with fingers crossed! I've already started looking at housing. Seem to find a bunch around the school on the Rochester Craigslist. My girlfriend graduated a few years ago and said that's where she found housing. Anyone else have any luck?

There's a second interview for the ABPNN (2nd Degree Bachelor's) program?

I didn't even know about this!

That must be really tough for the adcom's, though, if there's like 350 applicants for the 56 or so spots. Say they do 2nd interviews for the top 70 applicants... that'll still take quite a while just to go through interviews with each of them again!

no there's only one interview for the abpnn; a bunch of us are in this thread for the ampnn - there's two interviews for that (if you're selected for it)
