Hello everyone! I did not see a thread for this start date, so I decided to start one!
I recently applied and have my interview Wednesday November 11th. I'm pretty excited and can't wait for the interview!
How is everyone else doing with the application process?
Nope. I almost called today too but held back. I'm pretty upset I really wanted this acceptance. Not sure what's going on with rejection letters or what.
Yeah I am holding off as well. In one of the treads from 2015 there was an individual that didn't get an acceptance call until about 10 days after people said they got their calls. I have no clue just fingers crossed and praying!
Hi all, I was also recently accepted to the BSN portion. Congrats to all who have heard back as well! Like others have said, I'm a little skeptical about accepting because I was hoping to get accepted into the Master's program. I am from California and don't necessarily want to spend 85k on a BSN program solely when there are options here in California. I only applied to BSN/MSN programs this cycle so I don't really have any BSN programs in California that I can attend. For those of you who have been accepted into the BSN program only, what're your plans?
Hey coco! I'm also in the same boat as you. I'm also from California but I think I am going to choose Rochester over the other Accelerated Master's programs I was accepted into. My logic is this. My end goal is to become a nurse practitioner, and I know Rochester has a great NP program. The schools in California only have an Entry Level Masters-CNL program, which would require me to go to a NP program after that. The amount of loans I would have to take for that would be ridiculous, and having a Master's degree in something I didn't even want would be useless. So getting the BSN at Rochester, work for a year or two and re-apply to the Masters to NP program is the best route for me. If you're going to choose Rochester, let me know! Need to start looking for apartments and roommates soon!

I actually e-mailed Nancy and she responded almost immediately saying I didn't get in, but I can't say it was my top choice- definitely would have been nice to be accepted, though!
