University of Rochester ABPNN Jan. 2016

Hello!

I've been looking at allnurses to see if anyone had started a thread for the U of R January 2016 ABPNN program yet but I have not seen one. I figured I'd go ahead and begin. While they are still accepting applications until July 1st, I got everything in early and just had my interview this morning. I think it went well but I won't really know until they make their decision (the faculty member said I probably won't hear anything until mid-September). Anyone else applying for this cohort?

Me too! I swear I've have read every single thread that pops up about the school && this is the week that everyone found out. I'm so nervous and I REALLY want to get in. Hopefully we will hear something soon =]

What!? Seriously, every other cohort has heard this week! I hope she's wrong. Mid-October is ridiculous.

I don't know, that is what she said, I'm hoping she was wrong too. I don't think I can wait another couple of weeks.....

I applied back in June and I had my phone interview this morning! My interviewer told me the letters would be sent out in the next 2-3 weeks.

Wow. I can't believe they're still interviewing. I wonder if that means that they had more applicants than we thought. Thanks for the update! We'll just have to deal with the wait but I'm definitely still anxious! Good luck!!

I can't believe they are still doing interviews, every other previous cohort had basically found out by now. There must be more applicants! Back to patiently waiting....

I actually haven't been able to find a January cohort that didn't start getting calls this week or next. I wonder if they won't do calls at all this time. I'm trying to be patient but after 14 weeks (since my interview) it's very difficult.

Been lurking quietly in the background for awhile now. Lol. Had my interview in early August and was told I'd find out something by mid-sept. Guess it's looking like early October now huh?! I asked if it would be a letter or a phone call and she said it would be a letter but I see in other posts that people received phone calls. Guess we will just have to wait and see!!! To be fair, the other cohorts didn't get the letters until about mid-October so maybe they just aren't calling this time.

Idk, because they are just now wrapping up interviews..... I'm sure they will still call, it was more than likely more people who applied this time or they got really behind for some reason

I submitted my application right before the deadline and got a call a month later for the interview. I am also surprised they are still interviewing people.

What I mean is that I've seen posts from people who submitted applications before me but got interviews a good bit after me. So that makes me think that it doesn't have to do with a larger number of applicants but I could be wrong!!!
