I just sent my application in for the January cohort too. I didn't even think they would do interviews so early. Did you apply to any other schools? I'm thinking of applying to Stony Brook as well because I know this program is very competitive.

I didn't think I'd get an interview this early either. The only other college within driving distance to my house with an accelerated program is SUNY Brockport. They don't start accepting applications until August but I will probably apply there, too. I really, really want U of R, though.

Was the interview over the phone or in person? I was planning to apply to Brockport too but I'm also hoping for the U of R because I have heard great things about the program and its also shorter than the Brockport program.

My interview was in person. The faculty member I met was very nice. Just as a few people said in previous cohorts, mine was less of an interview and more just telling me about the program. I hope that's a good sign.

I think that is good sign. Many of the people that participated in these posts got accepted so I'm sure you will. You have tons of experience.

Hello! I started a thread but I guess it didn't end up posting. I have also applied for Jan. 2016, I sent all my documents last week! A faculty member told me they will start calling people for interviews once the deadline is over, and all application materials are sorted out. I must say you are very lucky to get an interview this quickí ½í¸Š. I really wish to get into this program, praying and keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you guys!

Hello all! I am also applying for the U of R's accelerated program for the January '16 start. I have been checking this site on and off for a while and am happy to see a thread has started! Did any of you apply for the AMPNN as well or just the ABPNN? I applied directly to the AMPNN for the Family Psychiatric Mental Health Track and had my interview about a month back- but only for the ABPNN portion. I heard that if they are going to consider you for the AMPNN program as well that they will contact you later in the summer for a second interview. Does anyone have any information on this? Good luck, everyone! I haven't been getting updates for some reason so I didn't see the new posts. I guess I was pretty lucky to get an interview so early. Now the waiting is killing me, though! Anyone else have an interview now that the deadline has passed?

My online document page has not been updated and the I am so anxious!! I have been calling the admissions office,and they said they are still sorting out all documents since they got tons of them. I hope by the end of the week they would at least update my pageí ½í¸

Hey guys! I thought I'd creep your guys' thread, I'm starting in September. lol

It's summer time so some of those in the SON admissions office have been out of town and/or busy. There's been a few cases where our stuff has arrived at funky times or there's some delays from people being gone. Don't worry, they'll get it done. They're busy folks in the office, but they're extremely nice - I can't wait to be a part of their program, they all seem so wonderful. So if you have any questions, don't hesitate to call them or email them, especially if you're worried about your application!

I called them with quite a few questions, even before I was accepted, so don't worry about annoying them. It won't make them not accept you, questions are good. lol
