Hello!

I've been looking at allnurses to see if anyone had started a thread for the U of R January 2016 ABPNN program yet but I have not seen one. I figured I'd go ahead and begin. While they are still accepting applications until July 1st, I got everything in early and just had my interview this morning. I think it went well but I won't really know until they make their decision (the faculty member said I probably won't hear anything until mid-September). Anyone else applying for this cohort?

I just recieved a call today to set up an interview. I will let you guys know how it goes. I'm so nervous.

I am glad to see this thread as I have been looking for others to talk to. I submitted my application the week after the application period opened and had my interview over the phone since I live in PA. My interview was the end of June and went really well. I am just waiting now. I also applied for the Navy nurse candidate program and am waiting for news from that as well.

Hello all, I applied by the deadline but still haven't received a call to schedule an interview. I'm hoping that they are just behind. When do you think the latest we'll hear decisions will be? Mid-September?

I was told at my interview in June that they would be notifying those accepted around mid-September.

No news to report but I'm just getting very anxious waiting for a decision! I'm sure I'm not alone. Hopefully we will hear soon now that we're in to September.

I feel like there have been a lot less posts here than on the previous cohort threads. I wonder if that means less people applied? Anyway, just posting to get my anxieties out. Good luck!

My interview was last week and the interviewer said that we will not have decisions until early October.

I've begun to anxiously think about taking out such a large loan for this program. Do any of you have creative funding ideas? I already have a mortgage and other student loans. I know this program is worth the cost but man, $66k!

Oh man, I'm going to go crazy waiting until October! That's a long decision time.

Unfortunately, I don't have anything to add in terms of funding. I already have a significant amount of student loan debt so if I get in I'm just going to bite the bullet and take out private loans as needed. I wish there was a better way.

If anyone else hears something regarding decisions, let us know!

I am getting more anxious too!! I cannot wait to hear something from them. As for the tuition, it's a lot to think about, I am still trying to figure out what kind of Loans to get for that when I have no cosignerí ½í¸•

I just emailed the school to ask for a bit of clarity on the admission decision time frame (considering someone was just told that they wouldn't be notifying until October). Hopefully they won't find it too annoying. I'll let you guys know if I hear anything.
